Clare Blanchflower and myself will be at the Comox Valley Bellies Birth and Babies fair on Saturday May 30th at the Public Health Unit on England Ave.in Courtenay from 10am-1:oopm. We will have a booth set up with information on the benefits af acupuncture and Maya massage during pregnancy and postpartum.

 I will be doing a talk on the benefits of acupressure for birth preparation at 10:00am on the main stage. Acupressure is a such a wonderful technique for the birth partner to learn to be able to offer support duirng birth.

 Clare will be speaking at 11:45 on the benefits of Maya Abdominal massage throughout pregancy to support the body, help with birth preparation and restore the body to optimum health post partum.

 Please come out and support this event, the Comox Valley doulas will be doing a presentation on the benefits of having a doula and lots of other exciting events.

 We are celebrating Infertility Awareness Week May 17-23rd at Comox Valley Acupuncture. On Tuesday May 19th at 6:30pm weare hositng an informational talk on how you can enhance your repoductive health with acupuncture, Chinese medicine, Maya abdominal massage and mind body work. We will be discussing the benefits of the therapies above as well as ways that you can start to increase your fertility at home.

 On Wednesday May 20th from 2-5:00pm we are having an Open House, a chance to meet the practitioners and have a free 15 minute consultation to find out how we can help you have a healthy pregnancy and baby. We will also be giving away a complimentary reproductive health package to all those who drop by on Wednesday afternoon.

 I am very excited about this opportunity for us to meet with some new people and answer there questions in a very relaxed environment.
