 I want to let you know about a mind/body weekend retreat that I am partcipating in on October 25-26th in Nanaimo. The retreat is being led by Louise Kirkhope MSW,RCC of Conceivable Options Counselling Services. Louise has been personally trained by Alice Domar, PhD, and is certified to offer her Mind/Body Fertility Programs.

 The weekend retreat is an intensive two day program designed for couples or individuals. The program is designed to help you take back control of your life, cope with the physical and emotional impact of fertility and learn about lifestyle habits that can enhance your fertility and contribute to your happiness and good health for the rest of your life.

 I will be speaking about the benefits of acupuncture and Chinese medicine on fertility. I am very supportive of this event as I feel that it will help many couples coping with infertility.

 I just got an email today from a woman and her husband to announce the birth of their baby boy. Thank you! I love to hear from everyone and find out how you are doing, how your pregnancy is, how the birth went, how is life with your baby.

 This couple both came in for treatment and conceived naturally. We lost track throughout their pregnancy but I was so glad to hear from them and see the pictures of their baby.

 If you can find the time I always love to hear how you are doing, even if that means you have decided to stop treatment or try something else.

 I am very excited to be attending a course this weekend in Vancouver on  Endometriosis and Menoapuse given by Kiiko Matsumoto a very famous acupuncturist and authour. It will be a priveledge to meet her and learn from her.

 Kiiko is most known for her different diagnosis technique using a lot of palpation to confirm her diagnosis. We will be learning about hormonal imbalances within the body, the pituitary, thyroid, adrenals and ovaries and their reflex zones.

 This style is quite new to me and I am very excited to learn some new techniques to incorporate into my own practice. I will give you more information after I have taken the course.
